Decided against the cheap winch (don't need it for going to the mall, but coulda used one to pull a BMW out of a snow bank he fell into trying to pass my Jeep on M59 near Pontiac last weekend <g>) and ordered in a cheap GPS instead. Should be here tomorrow...if the delivery truck driver doesn't get lost... on his way to the mall...<g>.

i just walked in from the garage. i spent the last hour putting on my stock muffler assembly. ive had no tailpipe after the cat for a few weeks. thought it would sound good but the noise just got annoying.

Today we (jipjip and myself) got showered with ATF when the machine used to flush the tranny was improperly connected, spewing ATF in a 10ft arc all over everything with 15 feet of the Jeep, quite a sight .
Before that we replaced the output seal on the sye (no more leaks!!!), and changed the engine oil and filter. On tuesday we will be flushing the tranny again (properly this time), rotating the tires and adding a Kilby gas tank skid .
I got my Dana 44 Axle shafts and gears for my Dana 30. The new 44 shows up today. Just got a price quote on 4" flat fenders and worked with Zach over at AtoZ on making some square tube rear guards. This is the set he will be shipping out:

Well it wasn't today, but yesterday... I put a set of Warrior Diamond plate lower doors as well as some soft upper doors from ebay on. They will be my Offroad doors since a set of full doors, like i have, are like $1400. As my friends say... their "BLINGTASTIC" "Now the jeep is off the Bling meter"
Last night I pulled two 1/2 ton Chevrolets out of the mud! One of them was stuck in a mud pond, and the other one burried the little pizza cutter highway tires up to the axles trying to pull him out! I love emergency missions.
