Tore off the two front and one rear bumper end caps. Well i didnt tear them off, really. More like gently extracted them after removing the dang bolts. The very last bolt on the last cap was stripped all to hell (naturally) and after trying for half an hour I gave up and sawed the P.O.S cap off. Also ordered some shackles and a few tools.

That's one of my favorite little mods I've done! Can be seen here:

Also, hosed out the interior for the first time since I Herculined it last weekend!

not today, but on friday (before the garage closed for three frickin days ) i got the three bolts out of my fwd motor support bracket that i sheared off. (mechanic said i'd have to pull my motor...what does he know?) and started pulling suspension components to put in my 4" lift. start in on that again tomorrow. with work and everything, this is going to be a week long project! and i broke my mountain bike this morning...

Reconnected my swaybar links from the last run I was on (Saturday).

Changed my front shocks from the useless Procomp 3000ES to Skyjacker Hydros.

Finished re-painting my steelies.

Replaced some hardware with SS hardware. (Nothing that takes any amount of torque)

Ordered a Herculiner kit to be going on soon. (Not looking forward to the prep work).

And now going to clean the mud from inside the jeep. Outside was cleaned Saturday evening.

Well not today exactly, but Sat. night we went topless to the drive-in. Saw the new Pirates movie.
The 2nd. feature was Cars but it didn't start till 1 am, so we left after Pirates. A good night!

Installed a Jeep Medic Engine skid, also put on a Fumato drain valve while I was down there. I oogled the Jeep Medic T-Case skid for a few minutes but had to put it in my garage until I have time to get a SYE.

Took it down to a used car dealership to raise hell on the salesman who sold my drunk 19 year old brother a piece of crap car under false pretenses and hung up on me when I tried calling to discuss the matter professionally. Oh boy, word of mouth is a wonderful thing....that dealership isn't doing so well as it is.
