I pulled out the back seat to see if it is any better for my dogs. I took them for a ride, I think it is better. And if I have to put the seat back in it is pretty easy.
I also Painted my Fender Flares and side steps with Krylon Flat Black. I did 4 coats at 20 min intervals. Prior to painting I taped, then taped and papered. Once I can post pics on here I will post before and after pics. Especially since i removed the pin stripes a couple of weeks ago also. I want to paint a number of other plastic items, and also the bumpers. But that will be another days project.
Well it didn't happen today, but I rolled it on its side after sliding down a muddy trail about 100 feet. It will be in the shop for about a month since it has frame, fender, hood, windshield, and "sportcage" damage.
I am still sitting here with my arm recovering immobilized. This severely limits what I can do to my TJ. My safari doors came today. I talked the mailman into taking them to the garage. I talked my neighbor into opening them and putting them on for me. I think I could have done that, but he wouldn't let me. They look great. When I can drive the Jeep again, hopefully they will make a good armrest, it looks like it. Hopefully they will keep peoples mitts out of my Jeep at the 4WP Truck Fest in a few weeks. If you are considering buying safari doors, these are very affordable and very nice.

97 Black TJ (one owner), BFG KM2 35s, 4.7L Stroker, ARB's, Dana60 rear, Dana30HP Front Warn manual hub conversion, 6 inch mostly Tera long arm lift. Rhino lined tub. Allied Rock 8 beadlocks. Tera-Low 4:1. Sanden OBA. Sniperfab tube fenders.
1. Repaired the latch on my Warn swing out tire carrier.
2. Installed some Sony Xplod's in the sound bar and in the dash to replace the stock speakers that were blown.
3. Made custom brackets out of the stock front speakers to install the new Sony's. (30min with a pair of tin snips is better than paying $30 w/shipping for prefabbed ones.)
4. Installed new shiftboot ring so my shift boot will stay where it's supposed to.
5. Fixed Grommets in my half doors so my Fiberglass uppers will stay where they're supposed to.
Painted my grey flares with krylon fusion, and...HERCULINED my tub!! Came out great, but if anyone does this, please don't make my mistake and let the stuff get on your hands. My hands look like i just changed my oil and it wont come off for like 3 days!! I tried gojo, xylene, sandpaper got some off, but its worth it to have a nicely herc'd tub!!
97 tj, 33's and a 4 inch lift, locked front and back, 4 banger and proud of it!

I finally got around to getting my Banks Monster Exhaust put in and once that was done, I had time to get the mount made for my GPS. I didn't get to re-shooting my flares with SEM colorcoat, but it's a 4-day weekend, so it may still actually happen...
