Installed the new Pioneer today, vacuumed out the interior and took it for a spin around the block while I had the doors off.

Last Two Days
Installed SYE, TW CV shaft, JKS rear upper CAs, Alloy tube seals, No-slip lunchbox in the frt, and GEAR seat covers(more places to stash more trash). Replaced some seals while I was in it, trans output, TC input, TC output, and frt axles. Also started cutting steel for the new rear bumper.
Today if that used OEM valve cover finally shows up, it and the gasket will get changed.
Tuckered me out just writing it.

installed alpine deck, amp and two type E 10's... watched a nasty crack appear in my windshield... found out I have a leak in my rear main seal...
oh and decided that next winter, if i'm still in ny, i'm taking it off the road because I hate watching rust form all over my jeep. i could care less about scratches or dings but I don't like rust...

I only mention this because I did the same thing when I put my radio in... your stereo mounting plate is upside-down.
If you take a close look at the radius in the corners, you'll notice that the opening has sharper curves on the top, and larger radius curves on the bottom of the opening.
Flip your mounting plate over, and you'll close up that gap you have in the top corners between the mounting plate and the dash bezel.
