Attempted to replace my fuel pump assembly but couldn't get it to seat in all the way in order to start the lock ring. It is the same size as the old one.

Any suggestions?

It's just a PITA. Don't bash your fuel pressure reg on top of the pump like I did (didn't know what that shiny metal thing on the top was at the time). An extra hand does world of good though.

Installed some M.O.R.E. 1" lift motor mounts that I got from a fellow JF member (Thanks Diablo09!)...What a difference! I'm debating whether to take the t/c drop off since the no vibe situation is so nice Might wait til I get a tummy tuck and sye/cv driveshaft.

I got to try out my hi-lift jack at 0530 this morning when my TJ decided that it would rather be a 3 wheeler. I swear, I torqued the lugs to 90ft/lbs. Thankfully I my spare is held on by three lugs, I think that I will be putting a few extras in my toolbox.

Relocated evap stuff and ditched the canister. Everything tucked neatly into the frame rails, now I just have to cut all the metal out from behind the tire.

installed the warn rear bumper/tire carrier - was going to wait until i actually need it but got too impatient seeing it sitting there. installed the typical 3rd brake light mod with the little circle light is inset inside the spare. i'd say overall fairly productive.

oh and filled her up ... again
Next time, get a bucket of scalding hot water and throw it on your windshield for a defrost. Just kidding.
