Drove it to work today.
Gonna wash all of the OHIO salt off of it tonight.
Tomorrow I am going to take the control arms aprart and grease them, install my dome light overide switch, test the new winch, play out in the snow, and then clean the interior. Oh, then sit and stare at it for long hours

Careful with that, I had the rod end break off on my track bar and it was a scary ride home!

Well I know your hinges are solid without the slots in it. Might be able to just drill a round hole. Only reason mine is square is because of the slots.

Did a mid-winter powerwashing. Also, cleaned and polished my wheels for the rest of the season. Darn M/T wheels, wish the PO had taken better care of them . Atleast they look 10x better than when I got them.

Today.......

After much anxiety, and debate on what size.....I finally got tires! Upgraded from 30's to 31's The 30's were bald and no longer serviceable. I was originally going to go larger but all the excellent advice found on this site steered me away. (No lift....yet)

Went cheap.....Spector Advanta AT 31 x 10.5 x 15.... I'll be buying "real" tires in the summer (after wedding is paid off!!!)

Also installed a Garmin Nuvo GPS unit today

Gonna go try it out in Occotillo Wells tomorrow!!!!

Fixed my baby. Pushed the front axle over 3/4 of an inch and adjusted my track bar. Put my stock pitman arm back in and fixed my toe-in.

Good bye terrible steering and hello proper return to center!

I took out my NP231 4wd switch and multi-meter tested it to make sure it was broken. It was, so I ordered a new one and put the old one back in until the new one arrives.

Got rid of the the tailgate hinges and smoothed out the tailgate. I plan hinge it on the inside, not sure if it'll swing down or open the same way. What do you guys think?
