Including two trips to autozone, and stopping for dinner at burgerking...the SYE/CV install took about 7 1/2 hours. Probably more like 6 1/2 without all the other BS.

Thanks to all you guys who gave me some good research material.

Fixed my brakes...kind of.

Drove it home. No vibes from the CV shaft under 55. Didn't take it over 55 yet. No vibes at all in 4hi, havent tried 4lo.

Front axle is a little off center...I'll fix it tomorrow

Washed it for the first time in 4 months

God grant me the serenity to accept the impossible trails I cannot crawl, courage to crawl the twisted trails I can, and the wisdom to keep the rubber side down.

Got my Bestop Halftop today and removed my Softop and installed the Halftop while at work. Even got the boss to help. Overall, love the look and it helps alot with keeping the jeep warm. Not extremely impressed with the fit and finish. Like the overall design though. Coupla downsides, can't remove it easy. Probably going to rig a quick release on the top for the summer. Oh, and another downside is my friends are already starting to call it the Jeep Sidekick

wow... that is so cool.

I've got the older style hinges and doubt I could do the same thing.

Made some 1/8th inch steel diamond plate rocker panels and changed my oil and filters. Also in the process of making a custom front bumper for the winch I just got.

Tried to post pics but theyre huge on here. How do I make them smaller?

Try photobucket. Easy to resize as well as host.

it finally got warm enough to install my new Bestop Sail-cloth. Love it! Also bought flat style bumper end caps to fill the hole the milkjugs left. For $3 each from Mopar, they are great!
