Found more shoddy work done by the previous builder...

Yesterday: I put new bolts in the bellypan after the others fell out friday night. I found some more bolts that hadn't been tightened. Took it out for a drive and had another bolt fall out of the front sway bar where the disconnects go into the tab on the axle. I also wired a MM wireless control into my Smitty XRC8 winch, and attempted to install SFW rockers but ran into an issue with my body mounts/lift.

Today: Finished the switch install for the ARB locker, put the rear seat cover on, pulled off a tire that needs repaired, then found the cause of a severe death wobble I encountered this weekend. The tie rod end hole had been sleeved (and not correctly either) and the weld holding the sleeve in place had broke.

I made a wire harness to go along with the IPF conversion headlamps and fatboy bulbs that I put in a few months ago. The difference is stunning. The OEM harness can't nearly supply the power needed to make these lights shine.

I mentioned that to my mom and she said that my dad that with a quilted blanket back in the 50's with a bugeye sprite. Then she started talking about how it was the only place they could go to make out when they were both in the air force before they were married. At that point I decided to turn my brain off and just answer yeah, uh huh.

i trimmed and painted my stock fender flares, they look great! i pulled off all five of my m/t aluminum wheels, scuffed them, and painted them, they look great too. also touched up my bumpers. i used krylon fusion satin paint on everything so it matches good, looks great, and is easy to touch up. i'll post pictures if anyone is interested. thanks moprr71 for letting me use your shop once again.

Well I trimmed my front fenders. I decided not to use the flares, since the tires don't stick out as far as I thought, thanks to 5.5" backspacing. Still need to touch it up a bit but I like it a lot better.

I've been playing in the snow for the past week, so I took it to the local coin op & washed it top to bottom. I hate cold weather & salt.

Went wheelin this weekend. Parked it in the garage last night and left it so I could watch my Steelers beat the Ravens!

Gotta unpack tonight.
