drove it in the ice from our overnight storm. the jeep with a detroit is a little scary on ice, also worked on my HP30 trying to get the knuckles off so i can send them to Vanco brakes but the bolts are rusted on, so i had to PB blast them to let them soak, probally go out to work on them tomorrow

^ DANG! It's still hovering around 1.50 here!

I continued work on the R.E. 4.5 inch kit that I bought for it: nearing completion, but tomorrow I've got PRK eye surgery, so I'll be out for a couple of days. Dang.

Got a window installed in my hardtop for $170, thus totaling my 2003 hardtop with power and tinted windows to a total of $270. I'm so happy! Soo much quieter, soo much better in every way.

This last weekend I replaced the passenger side door glass that I broke three weeks ago wheeling.

The weekend before that I installed my new Tera-Low 4:1 tcase.

6 weeks ago, I put in a full-width Ford 9" in the rear, spooled it, upgraded to Alloy USA rear shafts, and installed 5.43 gears. I re-geared the front to 5.38, installed an old Detroit locker I had laying around, and put on 38.5x14.50.20 ProComp xTreme AT's on Pro Comp Alloy wheels.

A pretty typical last couple months, really.

I take a break over Christmas, and then it's time to get the Scrambler on the road.

Followed another members idea! Bought and installed some 55w Autozone lights up under the front fenders for rock lights. Wired them into the factory driving light connections tied to the factroy switch. It took maybe 30 minutes and $20 donuts!! Nice and clean installation, Thanks!!!

This weekend I am putting on my 3inch black diamond lift that the wonderous UPS man dropped off last night. It is now sitting in a place of honor in my living room as i read the directions over and over.

New plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.. PITA getting to the 4th plug. Ended up having to take the A/C compressor out to get to the ripped up wire/plug.

Installed Currie HD steering, 35" KM2's, aligned it.. drove it home, had some death wobble.. I figure I left a tie rod a little loose to allow for a cotter pin install.. going to tighten tomorrow. hopefully it will fix it.

I would go ahead and put at least a 3/4" spacer up front. I have never heard of anyone not having at least 1" of front rake with a Black Diamond TJ Lift. Front sway bar links are not that well thought of but they'll get you by. Some like the shocks some don't. However they are still a great value.
