Just ordered a LOD bumper/ tire carrier to celebrate our 1 year anniversary/birthday which is this coming saturday. (sniffle sniffle) they grow up sooo fast. Then i took her out to pasture to flex on a downed tree.
Heres a pick

Replaced both unit bearings, reinstalled the engine skid after the 4:1 swap a few weeks ago, replaced the rear bumpstops, and gave it a good grease job.
Friday evening I installed the new LoD Xtreme-duty bumper/tire carrier. My "standard" LoD went on the YJ...
It should be ready for the trips out to Colorado!

Reassembled my winch, except for the electrical, and got it mounted.

Used my new winch for the first time. Pulled a XJ sideways after he slid down a hill and got wedged between two trees.

got jeep friday, replaced 225 75 R15 tires with 31X1050R15 wildcat a/s on saturday and went out today found a little mud and then got high centered on a kelly hump, friend pulled me off and I proceded to crawl all over the hump to teach it a lesson. Pick your line first lol.
Amazing what a stock jeep will do. Tho I'm used to my 76 dodge with 11'' lift and 35's it seems to have better aproch/departure angles but hey my jeep will sidehill better.

I ruptured the tendon in my bicep last week at work. I have surgery scheduled next wednesday. I can't drive the Jeep at all (stick shift), and won't be doing any wheelin' for a couple/few months. I guess this means I won't break anything this year, and can upgrade the transfer case next year with the savings. So my working on the TJ is one handed for a while. I have to keep my projects simple until a close friend gets back to town and can be my hands for wrenching on the Jeeps (his and mine). The sad part is that I still have to have my Jeep ready for the 4WD parts Truck Show at the end of July. Please excuse the rambling, the pain killers are working.
Today I used black Rit dye on my roll bar pads. They are still wet but they look really good. They now look black again vs. nine years of faded purple. I will see what they look like tomorrow, but there was really nothing to lose.

Dunked my co-pilot into the mud. I was stuck and he climbed on the hood, slipped, and fell head first into the puddle. I gave myself a hernia I was laughing so hard.
btw, thats a deep hole..., hes just standing on a ledge, the jeep is on 35's with the RE 5.5.

Replaced the resistor block which did not fix the problem. Then, the blower motor switch... worked like a charm.
