Found the drill, broke the bit...but forced it to drill another hole. They are on, painted, wired, and working.

Side note - I will never paint with rustoleum again. Way too tacky compared to Duplicolor

Mounted my winch and fogs a couple days ago. Yesterday I blacked out my headlight bezels. Today, I have been sanding and painting my bushwacker flares (Satin Black). Tonight, I will update my speedo gear. The jeep owns my weekends

In my driveway in the rain I changed the oil, changed the tranny fluid over to Royal Purple, and installed a throttle body spacer. Ran to Costco to fill it up and start checking my new gas mileage, and lo and behold I could tell the difference in HP. It was more than the the usual fresh oil boost. I've heard some people say they couldn't tell, but I think a few HP on top of stock is more noticable than if you add it later with other mods.

Now if I can just keep from lead footing all over the place we can see if it makes for better gas mileage.

Made some good progress on the heep today.
Finally replaced that SYE speed sensor I broke last week at Elbe and got started on cleaning her up. It was a big job but I had a great crew.

Cleaning the heep revealed a few more body shots after the recent Busywild run than I had noticed earlier. Add to the carnage list a tweaked windshield frame, driver side tub kiss, and bent tops of both doors just a tick. :

98 XJ:4.0, AW4, HP30/8.25 4.56 Spartan/LSD, alloy shafts & joints, HD steer, SYE/CV, skids, RADesigns gated shifter, RE mix n match lift, 35"mt/rs, THOR guards F&R, weld-in custom rockers & stiffeners, custom front bumper, orfab rear bumper, THOR cowl induction, on board air, on board welder, etc
