Can't get anymore apples to apples than that! Both 4-cylinders (The Op and Bill M.).

The RE springs do indeed install about an inch over the advertised height. So, with the lighter 4-cylinder, you'll likely get more height. You may be in a better position to add that heavy bumper or winch to the front with out a spacer. They seem to take about a year to "break in" and the ride gets better and better 'til they do.

Thanks for the input! I will be installing this kit if it would hurry up and come in. Then some 35 Km2's, and then some 4.88's! Can't wait to see this transformation

I understand, Bill, no worries.

I was struck by, I guess for once as it seems to be rare, someone came into a thread and said, "Hey, I run that, this is what's up". It's probably because I've read too many re-gear threads where someone's asking about 35's with an auto and someone with a stick tells them that what they run is the best (and only) gear choice. Since I don't have a 4-cylinder, I really couldn't tell the OP what would happen here. But, from my RE experience, I could tell them what I know. You call tell them first hand, apples to apples.

altitude also depends on how much junk is on and inside your jeep. ( ask me how i know that one ) like driveshaft angle, it really depends on the jeep and owner's weight.

Well I got my answer!

Got the kit put on sunday and ended of with an average of 4.9" of lift! By average I mean 4.2 in the front middle of the bumper, 5.3" in the rear middle of the bumper, and plus the measurements from the sides and middle of front and rear fenders. I will post up some pics as soon as I take some!

Best I can do for you. (from my build thread) Keed in mind the rubi is a little heavier, has a 6 cyl. and a hard top. These are the RE 3.5" springs.
