Weird electrical problem...
Hi folks:

When I started my TJ ('98 Sport, 6-cyl) this afternoon after a short park, I noticed that the airbag light was on, and both the speedo and tach were reading zero as I was driving along.... problems went away after a few minutes of driving.

Anybody ever see this??

Extremely common. Kinda suprised noone has chimed in yet. Bad connection between the instrument cluster and harness(due to bad design). If you pull it apart and give the pins a little twist, I am told this will fix it. Back in about 99' mine did it. They however replaced the cluster with a new one.
