Seems how the thread was brought back, I thought I would update.

The Wolo 418 is gone now, I put it on my ATV It doesnt work well in snow, it freezes up. It also wasn't loud enough, but these sure are....

Fixed it for ya.

When did they switch out the decent horn? My old '97 had a normal horn. My '05, though...it's an embarrassment. I'd almost rather get hit than use it, not that they'd be able to hear it.

I bought a '69 Road Runner horn on ebay for about $20, and it sounds like one of the old Jeep horns, but much louder.

PIAA Sports Horn

I bought/installed a PIAA sports horn with 400/500 mhz. The tone is strong, low, and loud. Don't buy the 600 mhz horn unless you want to sound like a honda.

My 06 had dual airhorns installed in it when I bought it. Not deep sounding train horns or truck horns.... more like one of the air horns with the compressed air can sound. The stock horn is missing from the engine bay....but I have room for more horns there... might get the Dixie horn....

Just think of it saying "JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPP"

I had Wollos on my TJ, and they weren't that much louder. And about a month ago, the Low end died, so it was REALLY wimpy. Luckily I was in auto shop, and we had a Saturn that was being scrapped. I stole the horn off of that and it's BLARING loud! I love it.

It could be San Antonio or Corpus Christi or anywhere else in Texas. We have been overrun by the invaders from south of the border. A real Texan would never even get near that thing.
