Water on driver's side floor board.

After it rains, I get in my Jeep and the floorboard has about a 1 inch high puddle of water. But its only the driver's side. The door seal looks good but i'm no expert. The soft top looks like its holding up. My windshield surround (the black rubber part sealing the glass in) has came undone so it could be coming from that but wouldn't that leak down the steering column? After it rains, theres no water anywhere but on the floorboard. Where do i need to check?

well i know nothing of the tj's but i do know that on my yj the cowl seal (between the tub and the windshield frame, where it folds down the windshield) This caused my yj to lead down behind the dash effectivly ending in my floorboard, When it got real bad it dripped off my e-brake release and onto my pantleg or shoe! New cowl seal is about $25-30. No biggy, just fold down you windshield, replace, fold up and ride. But this was my problem. i have also heard of them leaking a few other places... .there is a great write up on this in the YJ stickies, most should apply i think.

Have someone run water over the front while you sit inside and look to see where it's coming from.
