Warrior Safari Rack

I'm looking into getting the Safari rack from Warrior Products. Was wondering if anyone has had problems with the support bars being on the side of the jeep like that? Does it sway much and bang the side of a hard top? I've seen some people complain about snagging trees and such.

The price for the Safari is about quite a bit less than the Garvin and Kargo systems, though I'm not too keen on drilling into the side of the tub.

Anyone thats had experience with this product, I'd sure like some feedback. Like wind noise, stability, and hight from top of jeep to bottom of rack.

Hows the powder coat? I've seen one review that said it was lacking.

Where's the cheapest place that you've found that Warrior rack?

Any input is greatly appriciated.

I haven't had any problems with mine. The supports really don't stick out that far. My fender flares are much wider than my rack supports. As long as you keep the load within it's rating side to side movement is minimal. The powder coating isn't bad, mine chipped off a bit around the axe mount because I tightened it pretty tight and actually bent the metal. Mines nearly 3 years old (42,000k) and still looks good IMO. I have had problems with mud and rocks getting wedged between the hard top and the support rails and rubbing a little but who gives a rip about paint, right.
