Warrior Adventure Rack 834
I'm trying to find away to install gas cans and found the Warrior Rack. Has any one used this rack and I don't understand how it mounts.?
Thanks Bill 2006 Rubicon.

It mounts through the tailgate. Each leg is drilled through the tailgate in two spots, and bolts through it. You are only drilling the tailgate, the holes are already pre-drilled in the rack.
Additionally, there is a mount plate that you install onto the area of body under the tailgate (commonly referred to as the backplate) that has a quick pull pin that goes through the leg. This is held onto the blackplate with 4 screws each. We've had very good luck with these racks and in the 3 years I've been here I have only seen one fail, and that was due to someone not building the legs out of the proper wall thickness square tube. If something like that ever happens the company has always been good about replacing defects like that no questions asked. Hope that helps.

It screws into the body under the tailgate and gives the legs one more attachment point other than that two in the tailgate...just makes it that much stronger.
