After looking through the thread I decided to bite the bullet and order myself a top. Sometime next week I'll have myself a new top.

Thanks Stu, you just cost me a whole **** load of money.
Keep up the great work on the site.

For those that had been wondering about how the front piece attaches I snapped a few pics today for ya

Notice in the above picture the Viking soft top comes with mesh pockets to store some quick essentials, like maps, pens, whatever

This top looks sweet, I almost want to sell my current factory soft top and scrounge up some extra cash to get this top. It would be nice if I could get enough money for my factory top to be able to cover the cost of this one, no way in hell though, looks like this will be added to the list of what I want to do to the jeep... ha

Ya No problem Ryan, but I won't have the Jeep back in my hands until Tuesday from the shop, it's getting a full round of Gen-Right armor slapped on it so if you can wait till then, I will post some pics. It's pretty simple though, just spend time making sure the it is even from side to side in the front. When I first put mine on I left it on for 4 days, even though the weather was spectacular, so that the top could stretch and form to my Jeep. Once you've done that, it should go on pretty easy every time.

hey twitchy, no problem, its holding up alright, im gonna post the pics here for what i did to fix that clamp, it came out pretty nicely and its alot stronger than the original, and only cost me about 5 bucks.....here is what i did

buy yourself a pair of these straps

then cut one slice in the middle of the bar to slip the strap through..

then i just threw it on before painting black to make sure if wouldnt bend or break with pulling down the strap tight, and i mean really tight.. it didnt budge.

then i just painted them black to match the rest of the top, looks like they came with the top, just be care not to hot your jeep with them, when you flip that cover over, there pretty heacvy

hope you like the idea.. good luck

Ya I put them in that sleeve cover that came with the top, the center rear window piece needs a little folding to fit in that bag (sleeve) then I match up the velcro on the sleeve with the ones between both tops ad voila, they are secure even at 70 mph. I'll take some pictures tomorrow during the day and post them for ya

I like this top a lot. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to work with a Tuffy overhead console since it uses the footmans loop. Any ideas?

Actually, I have a similar question... I want to get a Rockhard 4x4 sport cage. It has the panel between the 2 bars of the T-section. I figured this would be a nice place to put a CB....but then it would interfere with the strap to the footman loop.
