it's pretty easy to remove. you can fold up the 'safari' part (carefully) and put it behind the seats, and the windows go in the storage bag. I left the tailgate bar on the back window and rolled the storage bag up and put it between the roll cage and tailgate. Putting it back in is relatively easy. takes about five minutes to put it back on. The biggest key is to get everything lined up in the header and door surrounds.

If so, can you leave it in the same position as you leave the stock top when its down and drive? or do you have to roll it up and place it somewhere else until you put the whole top back on which would get old real quick for me unless its drastically easier than putting the stocker back up. Can someone who has bought this top go into more detail on how the taking top down thing works with this top? Also I think pics showing the tops safari mode would be cool and also pics of it with the top down unless you have to remove the top entirely.
Thanks for the help!!
The Viking top is easy to take down but not as easy as the OEM top.

I find it easier than stock, but some don't see it that way, for the Viking top, first you place the bikini top on by sliding the front edge into the Bestop header, then wrap the strap around the middle roll bar pulling it tight back towards the front attaching it through the loop in the middle of the windshield then securing it through its own buckle, this is what keeps the bikini taut. This piece also has two rear straps on either side that wrap around either rear roll bar behind the seat belt torx head bolt.

In this pic I dont have the buckles in place but it still wraps aroung the bolt hole and then back through its buckle to pull each corner tight

In this picture if you look just to the right of the roll bar post hyou can see the front strap wrapping around the middle roll bar and back towards the windshield as described above

The key in these first steps is to make sure everything is centered perfectly which gets easier with time, all this sounds more complicated than it is time wise. The side windows then zip in on either side as well as slot into the window surrounds that come with the factory soft top. They also slot into the tub notch all the way around to the corners. K almost there, The rear center window, has three webbing tabs evenly placed across its length at the top that slip through the matching buckles on the safari top. Then start to zip up the center window to the side windows for a few inches, then tighten the tabs further to mate up the velcro that seals the rear window to the safari portion. Finish doing up the zippers on either side. Finally flip the second portion of the safari top down and hook the metal clips into the precut slits on each bottom corner.

The rear slits and are seen in this picture

Total time to assemble this top, about 7 minutes at a leisurly pace once you've practiced it a few times. Time to take it off, well it depends if your going down to just the safari top or completely remove the entire top. Either way, half the time to put it up

I hadn't had the full doors on in several years and decided to dust off the spiderwebs and see if they still fit.

I noticed, that with the tighter fitting doors on, I can hear some wind by the no-drill header.....not the fault of the top, just the fit of the header I have. I checked it out and I can see where a small piece of supplemental weather stripping fix the issue.
