on the bandwagon...

Got mine installed on Sunday:

Install was easy, especially after reading Stu's write-up.

I got mine via AtoZFabrication, thanks for the great service, Zach!

And, thanks for a great product, Viking!

more on my top

still haven't found my decibel meter, but someone else was asking about the rain getting in. Well we are smack in the middle of Tropical Storm Edouard, damn near a hurricane. I had to take my girlfriend to work, and the whole ride there and back (about 30 miles roundtrip) and the playing in giant puddles I did, yielded absolutely no rain into the Jeep. The only thing that leaked was the emergency water I bought last night and forgot to take upstairs! This is one awesome top!

Those tops are saweet, I've been doing alot of research for a softop since I only have a hardtop. I also have a Garvin Wilderness roof rack, with some permanent storage bolted to it, and really didn't like the idea of having to monkeywrench the thing up to put up a conventional softop in a sudden rain (very common here in Michigan, especially this year). This looks like a perfect solution for me. Does anyone have experience with one of these tops and a roof rack? I'd love to hear input if anybody is running this combo. Those tops look great, let the saving begin!

That thing looks great. What would I need if I have NO softtop OEM hardware? I've always run a hardtop and I have nothing for running a softtop. I do have the Bestop header.

You're definitely gonna a header for that top and I believe the Bestop no-drill should work. There is a post in this thread somewhere about someone getting their top and header shipped separately for some reason. I also think you're gonna need door surrounds because I think that what will help seal up top.

Those too (the header has already been covered).

You need door surrounds, the bestop no drill (quick detach) header, and the lower rear bar from the back window on a stock soft top as well as the brackets that secure the bar into place.
