man i really wish this top came in spice. that is the only thing holding me back from getting it to replace my soft top which is in poor shape. any body know if there are any plans to make a spice top anytime soon?

I've had mine for over two years and have had absolutely no problems with it.

And because I'm a bit lazy, in the warm weather I only partially unzip the side windows, flip them up on top, fold in what sticks out, flip the rear window over them and pull the top part back over and secure it. Even using the top that way, it shows no sign of wear or abuse.

How is the headroom in the back seat with this top. Thanks for the great write up. I have also been thinking of getting one with the tax return.

For full size adults it is fairly low! But remember, it is a soft top, so it'll give. My son rides in a carseat back there with no problems and he's a tall 4 year old. I have sat back there to check and my hair is on the top of the window. I am only 5'10" but only have a 30" inseam, so it's the equivalent of an "average" 6'2"+ male as mine is all torso height. I recommend it still. If you have ever ridden in the backseat of a Jeep with a safari top, it follows the same area, just goes down to the tailgate from there.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. Should be at the house sometime tomorrow before I get off from work. I'll definitley throw my 2 cents in but I'm sure like the most of you, I'll absolutely love it.

I have a Khaki soft top and a bikini top - and I would trade them both for a Viking top. I want one of these!

Those of you that have this top with the no-drill header, how is the wind noise? My header catches a good amount of wind on the highway and is really starting to get to me. Anything over 65 and you can pretty much forget about talking to any occupants. i love teh top btw, just not the header.

No issues with the header here.

I have a lot of wind noise. The header does not sit flat on the windshield frame. When I pull the top back out for spring/summer, I will attack the header and bend it how I want it. I did add some weather stripping b/w the header and frame to reduce some of the wind noise.

Gentlemen,
I just got done putting on my new top from Viking! Let me just say WOW! At first it didn't look like it was going to fit snug into the header bar but once I got 'er all tightened up it fit like a dream. Once I got it all installed I tried to see how long it would take for me to put it in Safari mode and store the windows and back into full "mode".....well lets just say on my first attempt it took me all of 5 minutes to take apart and store it all into Safari mode. Then putting 'er back together took only 5 more minutes.

Once I got it all back together I decided to hop out on the freeway and see how it sounded...well I've gotta admit....I thought I was in a sound chamber cause I didn't hear a thing.....atleast compared to my OE top.

Out of all the mods I've done thus far to my little jeeper, this thing is by far my favorite....even better than my new KM2's. If you're sitting on the fence w/ this mod and highly advise for ya to go ahead and pull that trigger.

I'll get some pictures up on here for ya'll to gawk at this weekend in both modes...then ya can make fun of my sharpie colored wheel weights and look in awe at the beauty of the Fast Back Top by Viking!
