Viking Fast Back Soft Top?

Anyone of you guys use one of these soft tops?

http://northridge4x4.com/proddetail.php?prod=VIKING-FASTBACK

Just wondering how the quality is, as it says that it uses OEM quality materials.

thanks!

I'm not 100% positive, but I think there's a user here that goes by "The 'ster" that may have one of these. See his picture in this thread, post #13: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f59/black-painted-bedlined-grills-274540/
Maybe he can give you some info?

They are in preproduction, not currently shipping. They have run into some issues.

There is a large thread on JU by one of the testers if you would like to read it.

It attaches to the Jeep with three pieces of hardware, the windshield channel (currently a Bestop no drill header- that may change), the door surrounds, and the rear window bar. So if you have only a hard top, you would need to purchase the surrounds and rear window bar, and the pieces that hold the bar in place that screw into the tub in the back.

I was originally looking at the multi-top from California Tops.. but after reading a bunch of stuff, I don't think I can trust the workmanship of the top, let alone the dude himself. It's a shame too, cause I even live in the same city (Edmonton) as California Tops..

Sure, 12 different configurations sounds like a great idea, but chances are I would only ever use 2 or 3 of them anyway.

Oh well, since I really like the look of a frameless top, I will have to look at the Viking top.. looks like they are doing great work!

I have had mine since May 1. I love it. Jon and Thor did a great job designing this thing.

Did they come tinted like that or did you do that? All the pics I see at stores look untinted.

At first I loved the fastback style, then I started to hate it.. now I think I'm back to loving it again.

I have the option of buying an 06 factory top that's never been used for about 350-400... or I could save and get one of these. I don't know what to do anymore!
