various axle strength ??

ok.....on axles....we all know them, and all know that say a dana 30 is stronger than a dana 35. etc. etc. etc....but...does anyone have any EXACT information on the strength of one axle over another?? like dana 30, 35, 44, 60, ford 9 inch, ford 8.8, corporate 20, also....the differences in say the "super kits" for say the dana 35, 44, etc......anyone have the tech information to really see how strong one is over the other....thanks as always....

I haven't seen a single website that lists them in order of strength... it'd be interesting if there were such a site. But a Dana 30 isn't as strong as a Dana 35c is... it's just that the front-mounted Dana 30 doesn't see the stress that the rear axle does so it just doesn't break as often.

dynatrac's website compares a couple axles against their own and gives some good specs too. check them out...and while you are their drool over the axle's that we all wish we could have.

Like Jerry said, I've never seen a side-by-side comparison. You could go to all the various manufacturers websites for specs. Then you could make a nice list and post it here.
