When you did the intake did you keep the MAF sensor? Or did you delete it from the computer? I'm not sure if I should delete mine or not

to a great project.

Looks like a smooth build up. So many pictures, but the problems seem to be few to none.

Boy don't I wish there were no problems! Seems I'm running into small problems everyday. LOL.. The latest was my brake pedal switch, the harness requires a hot wire to feed the torque converter, then when you push the pedal, it kills the power to unlock it. I went to carquest, and talked to them regarding a normally "open" or "closed" switch. I ordered one, took it home and mounted it: No dice, so I called and they ordered just the opposite, picked it up and no dice again. So they tried another, and low and behold it didn't work either. I finally went to a big truck parts store, explained what I needed, and $25 later was on the road. I'll see if I can get some pictures of that.

I kept my MAF sensor yes, now I need to call Howell and get a pigtail to reach my filter, I actually started with a K&N for a chevy truck, but only used a very small amount of the parts.

As we discussed in my build thread, if you could possibly post some more pics of your intake that would be awesome. It looks like you might have a bit more room that I do though. Im going to have to go down there and do an exact measurement so I can see exactly how much room I have to play with.

Here is a couple pics of the intake, the hard plastic tube coming from the throttle body is the K&N tube. I had to shorten it, and it add the rubber straight piece and also rubber 90* to connect to the airfilter mount. It is a nice piece that has a place for the maf to mount, along with a filter mount. It was worth spending the money on it even though I had to butcher it. Also, here is a picture of my GM ECU mount. I used the factory box (new only $25 I think) and made 2 mounts, one is a "pedistal" besically a piece of solid stock I drilled and tapped on both ends, to mount it to the tray, then mount the ECU holder on the top. The 2nd mount you can't really see, but I happen to find a nice bracket that mounted to the inner fender and had a flat top that just so happend to work fine.

Well, my rearend delima is cured for the time being, I just found a set of dana 44 with arb front, detroit rear, good axles, basically built for a good price. I'm going to pick these up and run them this summer, and once fall comes around I'll go back to work and pick up a set of dynatrac pro-rocks.

I'm sure you'll have no problems at all reselling those 44s.

Dang! You've got a crapload more room inbetween your intake and fan than I do... Do you have any shots of the firewall? Mine is tucked up pretty damn close to it.

Not sure how to do that, I'll see if if my 10 year old can handle it.
I heard a loud exhaust leak, and forgot about the large holes in the camaro manifolds, so I found some 1/2" scrap and got to work. No leaks now!

Yea, you have a TON of room compared to both of us. Your intake looks nice, but isnt going to help us any. Thanks for taking time and posting the pics though.
