upgraded wheels and tires on tj...

Okay... factory 2000 TJ. Nothing special, except it is a jeep and it is mine!
Further details... factory 2.5, trans and drivetrain.
A Daily driver, this unit is one that I would like to upgrade a little both for comfort and capability.
Factory 15x6 wheels... with 205-75R15s. Yeesh!
So... went to my favorite used auto parts retailer and managed to find four 7 wide 15s.. factory "grizzlies" as I'm told they were called. Difficult to find, I ended up with two different "shade" of wheel... a silver and a darker grey. One pair on one side, one pair on the other... who'll know?
IN ANY CASE.... running the 205 75R15 have determined that the speedo is about 5% fast (displaying a speed five percent above what the vehicle is actually doing!)
So... planned on upgrading the rubber to a wider tire, with a little higher profile as well. 235 70R15s. Calculations show that should do just fine.
Or am I just buggering myself?
Opinions... please?
Remember this is a daily driver... dealing with Ohio snow and Highway runs back and forth to work.
Thanks in advance.
