It was sure a long day, but COLOUXJ and I ran Mount Antero. Tight shelf roads and switchbacks, several thousand foot drop offs and amazing views. Awesome day!

Mt. Princeton (14er).

It was snowing:

Finally got tired of the overflow coolant spraying the entire inside of the engine compartment....

Easy fix, just finally got around to getting the stuff. 1 ft of 3/4" heater hose + zip ties.

now the overflow goes below the engine compartment, and the bottle still goes in and out same as stock.

Next up: I'll be changing my tranny cooler setup. I had things all piped backwards. for those paying attention to 42RLE tranny coolers see here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/ke...l#post12173429

I'll be running something like this, once I get all the components together:

That will prove important after my winter project is finished:

Stay tuned for more on that over the next few months

That's a very good idea for the coolant overflow; it would be nice to have the overflow go under the engine compartment. I might do that...

Watching for more details on your winter project

I remember seeing that picture I keep stealing mods from you

Did you hook your aux tranny cooler to the hot output side line or the cool return line? What's the flow path of your dual coolers? similar to the picture above, or different?

Thanks

Wait, I'm confused.... is that a newer jeep thing? Overflow coolant will actually overflow from the overflow bottle and spray everywhere?

EDIT: Well I'll be damned, I went and looked and sure enough, there is a vent thing on the back of the overflow bottle.
