i'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Ran Argentine/McClellen Mtn with freeskier today. COLOUXJ and -sean- were supposed to come, but back out....well, they missed quite the trip.

And we came upon this Dodge Durango...

We hiked up to investigate....

the lower red arrow shows where the vehicle is, the upper shows where the next nearest road is...where it probably rolled from.

The windshield was about 1/3rd of the way up the hill

the debris field was 50 ft wide or more and stretched the entire distance.

may have found part of the cause....

I talked to the Clear Creek County sheriff's office - they know about the vehicle, it's been there for "a couple months", no one was injured, and they are waiting to remove it. Don't know any more specifics however.

He had to have been trying to turn around on that road then bailed when he probably backed off the edge.

oh cool...I didn't see you

I didn't get up this past weekend...it was also good weather for painting a trailer

Sean, I may try to get a trip to Red Cone/Radical Hill/Saints John together in 3 weekends or so if you are interested. Probably be a Sunday, but I'll know more in a 2 weeks or so.
