Has anyone heard if John will be driving the 0088 rig tomorrow and any chance they finish the big race this year?

If they get some luck and avoid mechanical issues they can definitely finish. How they can hang with the big 4400 guys is a different question. Some of them look very impressive. Not a knock on John and Gerald, just very different vehicles.

Thanks for answering my questions on the chat today. I was only able to watch the coverage during my too short and not often enough breaks, so it was hard to know what was going on.

I'm heading out there in about an hour, so will be there to see the big race. So excited.

Anyways, what a week of drama. We started off well pre-running the entire course then we did a mini prep. We the got the fluid changed and called it a night on Tuesday. All we needed to do was rebuild the shocks and we would have been race ready. We'll as luck would have it, as we woke up to find tranny fluid everywhere! I had forgotten to seal up the transfer case were it connects to the tranny. Pull the t-case and seal it up now we have to rebuild the shocks it Wednesday at 4pm. We finish rebuilding the shocks as 7pm. Get them installed and Casey Currie takes it for a ride. He comes back and wants us to put the old shocks on because it rides so bad. We quickly diagnose that the pressure is wrong on the shocks and air bumps.

Race story tomorrow. I'm wiped out! I ran up Big Johnson, Wrecking Ball (part), and a few other trails.

Wade we already finished 1st overall. No need to be a trail plug for the big boys. There are 126 lined up today. To validate or overall win from last year we did it again this year at the 2013 King of the Hammers Everyman Challenge. Our products are race proven beyond reproach. It was good to meet you in person, Gerald Jay and I both had a good laugh over you and John passing us for physical 1st place at like 90 mph. We saw you grinning through the window, or maybe you were just saying "help, there's a crazy guy driving"
