I just got approval from work to take the 8th off. Looking forward to seeing the big race. Think the company VP may be coming with, lol.

Congratulations. Not to turn Gerald's thread into The Travel Channel, but if I were you I'd head out Thursday night and plan on coming back Saturday. Figure out some camping arrangements for the two nights. Traffic will be brutal out there and even if you get there Thursday night probably 25k people there ahead of you. Race day the cars start lining up before the sun comes up and will be coming in long after it gets dark. Making just a day trip of sounds brutal.

For these you just remove the stock bump stops, drill a hole up top, weld in a can, then bolt in the bump stops right? And they adjust height with the threaded collars? The JK bumps fit inside a TJ coil? (Still running currie 4" coils). What about for the rear? What bump stops are you running and how are they mounted?

Getting tired of my Prothanes. Saw the JK king kit and its a good price!

These are custom spring mounts. They had Teraflex cans that we butchered to make the King JK bumps work. Still running 10 year old Currie 4" springs. Pictures tomorrow of the rear.

Some prunes perhaps???
I just got a mental picture of a pony tail and a pair of ragged old jeans laying on the ground after he has a few prunes.

Full race prep now! Thirds come out, new rear ARB, new ujoints and axle shafts, new front race unit bearings to start with.

Rebuild all of the Currie Johnny Joints and replace the heims is on the list as well.

Then one more shake down run next weekend and then the race!

Shocks will rebuilt on the lake bed Tuesday or Wednesday.

Currie made 300M gun drilled rear axle shafts. Call Currie for axles like these!

Replaced the F9 inner seals and installed the rear ARB and front Detroit third members.

They look like 35 spline by dividing the shaft in half and then counting the splines.

I meant to expand on this and got distracted. Here is how regular it is compared to yours. If you brought yours out and raced last year, you would not be able to be in the same class as them and would have had to race in the higher class and they still would have beat you. (not meant as a slight)
