It will be going to print media first. Probably after KOH the complete build will show up on the internet.

Gerald, did you find pit crew shirts that will fit the "big" belly crew you're going to have?

Awesome. I want to race my LJ.

Quick question, I know the stock class has to have a stock suspension configuration (coils and shocks for the LJ) but what about bumpstops? If you can't run air bumps, I'd strongly suggest prothane coil inserts. I run them on the front of my LJ now and it's 100x better than conventional bumpstops for high speed thrashing. I still get full flex and am properly setup to not over stuff too. Still need to squeeze a set in the rear, and it will be like riding on marshmallows!

No air bumps or secondary suspension allowed. We have been looking at the elastomers. I haven't seen the coil inserts you mentioned. Who are they made by?

Edit: Just looked up the Prothane Motion Control Bump stops and they look promising. The no rebound after compression is exactly what we want.

Thanks,

Gerald

$60 from jegs I think. Buy the 10" and cut it down as needed. They compress a good 30% or so, so keep that in mind when setting them up. Lots of good info on NAXJA about them.

Hmm I haven't measured exactly how much they compress on mine, but then again I just have the Currie 4" springs and 33s.

What springs will you be running, 3" or 4"? And what tire size? I know the other LJ has the 3" springs with 37s, but that doesn't seem like a whole lot of uptravel for racing out in the desert. Or is that classified

I'd volunteer for pit-crew duty, but you've met me, so I might be better as the water boy or something less technical!

Overall suspension compression? Or bumpstop compression?

Is this a class rule thing or because you are staying so low?
