Quick question, I know the stock class has to have a stock suspension configuration (coils and shocks for the LJ) but what about bumpstops? If you can't run air bumps, I'd strongly suggest prothane coil inserts. I run them on the front of my LJ now and it's 100x better than conventional bumpstops for high speed thrashing. I still get full flex and am properly setup to not over stuff too. Still need to squeeze a set in the rear, and it will be like riding on marshmallows!
Hmm I haven't measured exactly how much they compress on mine, but then again I just have the Currie 4" springs and 33s.
What springs will you be running, 3" or 4"? And what tire size? I know the other LJ has the 3" springs with 37s, but that doesn't seem like a whole lot of uptravel for racing out in the desert. Or is that classified
We need MOAR Pics GMan... I already told the Mrs. I'm coming down next year for the Race... hope I can camp near you fella's (by "camp" I mean crash on your couch in the amazing toter! ). I'd volunteer for pit-crew duty, but you've met me, so I might be better as the water boy or something less technical!
