These two have bereft me of all words. Harping on others work. GD epitome of web wheelers.

We offered some valid criticisms, then Gerald explained the product choice. I don't understand your issue. Further, what type of wheeling do you expect on the internet?

I am indeed a web wheeler. Thanks for pointing that out. Now you got me all sensitive and stuff.

My distaste for hack em up fenders comes from buying full replacements, being able to sell my stock fenders, and being able to bolt my new fenders on quite easily, drilling a few holes, and calling it a day. In fact, we had my stock fenders off, the new ones on for mock up, off for drilling, and back on for final install in about an hour and a half. I hate to see people spend good money on less than great products. I've had a vast distaste for Genrights fenders since they were released and I learned the difference between full replacement and hack em up fenders. I'd suggest you learn the differences as well before griping at me.

They filled Geralds needs, so that's good for him. That's all that matters. Gerald didn't need what the product I was suggesting offered, so that's done.

I wasn't harping on his work, merely his choice of products. I've never once badmouthed Geralds work (that I remember lol). Thanks for playing.

Back to you G.

PS: ever get with trailready for me?

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Those look nice! I wish the tubes I was running offered more room at the rear of the wheel well.

James,

I thought you got wheels already. Trailready will be at KOH and I can talk to them if you are still interested it. What model and size do you want and I'll see if I can get them.

I really like driving the LJ but my days driving it are coming to an end as my son gets his license very soon!

Thanks guys for the props!
What is a 0/xx balance?

0/xx means anything besides zero. 0/0 is the idea balance but many shops will go upto 0/20 and call it good.

My hunter machine measures in .25oz increments. When I balance them dynamically I get a reading for how much weight to put on the outer lip of the wheel and how much to put on the inner lip. Once it's correct it reads READY on the top and bottom instead of displaying how much weight it needs. I haven't see the machines that show 0/0 I guess.

It nice when you delete them!

Well, it looks like a 2006 Avalanche 5.3 is going in the LJ. I have the complete drive train. It looks like I'll need motor mounts, radiator and the harness reworked.

It going to be fun. Probably can't start till after the Rubicon.

I thought I saw something hidden under a tarp when I saw you Wednesday. Maybe I need to swing by more often.

Gerald, i would suggest speartech http://www.speartech.com/ for the harness and computer work. John at speartech did a great job on mine when i did the 5.3 swap a few years ago. I hated the 4l60e transmission, the shift points are all wrong in a jeep, it can be programmed out if you want to try your hand at HPtuners or some other tuning software. Im sure there are several people in your area that can tune it for you though.

Good luck,

Ryan
