Hell yea !!! Local had a 3.8L S/C T-bird motor/harness/ECU for sell for $500. I thought that would be cool in a TJ, but now I see its already be done ( and done well by the looks of it ).
Where'd that pic come from ? The S/C 3.8L puts out more power than the standard EFI 302s, minus maybe the GT40 motors. You can get those small eaton blowers off a lot of old GMs too ( olds aura, regals, GTPs ). I come across them randomly all the time for like $150-$200. I saw one bolted up all sideways on a miata that had a EFI 302 swap. It was all homemade, but very cool ( although not intercooled ).

Its a garrett T-3 smart asses
And the 2.3 turbo ford motor is about 17.5 times the motor jeep's 2.5L ever thought of being.I have a friend that just bought a running/driving turbo t-bird for $350 to swap into a 92' mazda pick-up for "gas mileage", hahaha. And, I don't care, unless you crap $100 bills every morning after eating pizza, the ford EFI 302 is the best engine swap out there. For a trail beater in a TJ, I don't see anything wrong with a jeep 4 banger. Essp. if its the 2.4L dodge DOHC 4 banger.

I did read that you had one though, haha... Of course... The turbo 2.4L would still cost more than a EFI 302 swap If you think its worth it, swap the 2.4L in and leave it stock...

I'm sure that's one of the most intelligent things I've ever read on JF! I can't wait to get mine paid off. I never would have bought it to start modding if I hadn't been financing such a small amount with such low payments.
The new Jeep looks like agreat place to start. I can't wait to see where you go with it!
