Unable to get grease into JKS trackbar grease fitting anymore

My Jks trackbar is about 6 years old. I tried replacing the grease nipple fitting but it still won't take any grease. It took grease just fine until recently. Am I going to have to replace the trackbar??

No, just disconnect the axle end and swing it around and move it up and down while trying to put grease in. What has happened is the lube oil has left the binder in the grease and the binder has dried out leaving the passages clogged. Sometimes moving the races around on the ball will let the new grease displace the binder and flush it out.

If not, then you'll have to disassemble the JJ and clean it out, reassemble it with some grease and it will be fine.

The JKS trackbars are rebuildable so you shouldn't need to buy a new one. Press out the bushings if you have to and clean the passages with some thin wire.
