Thanks,
Apparently it was just my computer. I stopped by my mom's house this afternoon and was able to place my order for the 97-02 oil pan/tranny skid (last name Miller). Thanks for the JF discount btw. However, I just realized I totally forgot to order my UCF tee to go with it! Guess I'll have to make another order. You still have xl's in stock?

I do have some more t-shirts in stock in XL.

If you figure out why your computer had a problem with my site I would love to hear about it.

Thanks,

Got my oil pan/tranny skid in this week. I'm just waiting on the paint to dry now to get it installed. That thing is beef!

I'm finally getting around to installing my skid and I'm having issues. First, my skid did not come with mounting instructions so I'm left to comb through JF threads to find the info I need to get it installed. Then I finally got everything mocked into place and I don't see how this skid can possibly fit. The skid itself is not even as wide as my oil pan. Is the lip of the skid supposed to rest against the oil pan or did I get the wrong skid shipped to me. Maybe if I had some measurements of the 97-02 skid that would help. Also the hole on the bottom of the skid to access the oil drain plug doesn't line up. I could use a lil help here.

My apologies to UCF for most of the above post. I guess that's what I get for wrenching at 1:30 in the morning. I came across a thread from Hendrix that showed in detail how all the pieces went together and which way to turn the brackets and such. I'm good to go now, but I still wish there were some installation instructions. It could have saved me a couple of hours and a busted knuckle. But in case anyone needs it, here's the thread:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/un...l#post10027519

And btw, once I got everything put together the way it was supposed to be, the fit and finish is great. I may have to trim the skid around the exhaust manifold though. Thanx again UCF for a great product.

Sorry you had a rough time with the install. Admittedly I need to get instructions posted up. Hope all is good now.

Thanks,
