u bolt driveshaft yoke

If I buy an aftermarket axle with a u-bolt yoke, will my aftermarket DC driveshaft work?

Yes, if it is made for the particular u-joint size on your driveshaft.

Be wary with those u-bolts though, it is VERY easy to overtighten them and damage the u-joint's needle bearings underneath the bearing cap. The standard u-joint straps are more than strong enough, don't consider the u-bolts to be a good idea as an upgrade if they are simply an option for your axle.

I'm looking at the G2 axle, it comes with u bolts. It says driveshaft mods may be required, just trying to think of what may need to be done.

Driveshaft length depending on what axle you are taking out?

I will be replacing a 44 with a SYE and DC shaft. I'm looking at the G2 with 4.56 and OX locker.

A G2 44? Driveshaft should bolt right up on that swap.

Would $1000 be a resonable asking price for both my d30 & d44 with 3.73?
