Two Questions
Alrite i have 2 questions. First, im lifting my jeep in about a month and to save some money im looking to save some money and use my stock wheels. What is the widest tire to fit on a stock 2006 jeep wheel or really how wide is a stock jeep wheel. Next, anyone out there want to sell a hardtop to me that fits a 2006 TJ?

Stock wheels are 7-8 inches wide, depending on which wheel you have. Look in the TJ tech section and you can find that info. As far as tire width goes, a couple things will affect what you can get away with. Check the specs of the tires youlike and it will tell you recommended wheel widths they can be mounted on. If you want a wider tire and it may rub when turning, wheel spacers (good ones, not cheap ones) will help there.

Stock 2006 TJ wheels are 15x7.....I know that I have a 15x8 now and my tire is 12.5" wide. Hope this helps some.

It might say it on the inside of the wheel. So just take you spare off the back and look at it real fast, thats where it was on mine.
