Turn Signal Relay Wacky

I am not a wrench but have done most repairs and replacements on my cars for years. I am scratching my head on this one.

Left turn relay started a fast pace circuit break after hooking onto a trailer just purchased. The trailer was not wired correct. Both turns were wired together. Trailer wires corrected and still a fast relay action.

Unhooked from trailer and still have the problem. Checking the wiring from the Jeep LJ trailer connection shows when the left turn is on, I have power to both Left and Right outlets now. Good before hooking onto trailer.

No idea what could have welded together while hooked up to trailer. The wiring under Jeep seems good as before.
