Turn-Key Jeep Engine

Is there anywhre i can buy a turn-key 4.0l crate engine for my jeep. Meaning it comes with everything you need to convert my 2.5l to a 4.0l.

There may be one out there but I've never heard fo one. You should check out a recent article in JP magazine that talks about 4cyl replacement options it had a few vendors and options listed. (around August '05 I think)

To be honest, you would be better off selling your tj and buying one with a 4.0. It would be alot cheaper since you would have so many extras to buy.

The newest 4wd catalog has this as the cover story. Seems a little pricey, but they offer a couple of different choices

i want to get a 4.0...but around here they are few and far between....most are 2.5l or 4.0 with over 100,000 miles on em.

I will soon, (within 2 months) be selling a 4.0, nv3550, computer and engine harness, motor mount, trans mount, clutch pedal, fresh air box etc. after my hemi swap. IM me if you are interested in the package.

I have a 4 banger auto if that makes a diffrence i what i need? Also i would like to keep the auto tranny if possible because i drive in a lot of traffic and stick gets old...also i like auto off road better.

go to a junk yard and buy a totaled 4.0 and take everything you need, then sell your motor and whats left of the other jeep, you may come out on top even, but theres no easy swap, i blew my motor in jan i looked,
