Unfortunately my first post would be a troublesome tech question but I'm a bit out of my realm with these modern computer engines. I have exhausted the internet and this forum hunting for someone else who had similar problems and have come up dry. I have a 98 TJ 2.5l that has me at my wits end with this current issue. Trying to resolve this issue, I have currently replaced the fuel pump assembly, distributor cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires, and the crank position sensor. My jeep will turn over, has plenty pressure on the fuel rail, and runs perfect once it gets started. No rpm or idle issues, nothing spurratic once it gets going, doesn't try to die or stall, just won't start sometimes. There are no codes being thrown and I don't know where to look next. Once I changed the crank sensor, it seemed to solve the problem for a few days, same thing when I changed the fuel pump. Currently, once turned over, it hits a lick instantly, then nothing until it decides to fire up. Really hoping some more collective knowledge can help me resolve this. I'm not used to sensors and fuel injection, I'm really starting to miss my old sbc's haha
