transfer case shift linkage problems after t-case drop

i installed a 4" kit on my tj and put the t-case drop on for now. it solved my vib issue but my transfer case shift linkage popped out of one of its brackets in the process. i thought i needed the adapter bracket so rough country sent me one but now im having other binding issues w/ the linkage. i would like to know who out there is running this adapter bracket and if it is working for them, or if your not running the adapter how you have your linkage setup so that it works properly. thanks, Ryan

There are a couple different kits out there that allow you to move your linkage pivot point off the Jeep Tub and directly onto the transfer case. Mine was made by Skyjacker and it works wonderful. I have a 3.5" suspension lift and 2" body lift. My 4 wheel drive shifter was totally bound up. Now it shift smother than the original shift linkage ever did.

I understand that there are other aftermarket kits that do an even better job, but I've had good luck with the linkage relocation kit from Skyjacker.

i did see the bracket that you are talking about in quadratec but it is $90 and says that it requires cutting and welding. i searched for some others but couldn't really find anything. is there anyone out there that runs a 4" lift w/o any mods to there linkage?
