transfer case problems
so the noise I have been hearing is coming from the transfer case, I took it to a local transmission shop and they said that it probably wasn't a big deal so they could most likely fix it for 700-800 bucks. I was shocked. Can you guys give me some reasonable pricing for transfer case work? Thanks.

I'm not sure, he acted as if going into the transfer case was the expensive part

Holy crap.Seems like a lot for something that was not a "Big Deal" I would definatly get a 2nd opinion.

you can get good used tcases off ebay or the boards for 2-300. I would go somewhere else for a better opinion and make them explain what the exact problem is. If they can't tell you for sure then don't go there.
