transfer case issue i think please help

I own a 2000 sport and it won't engage in 4 hi but will go in 4 lo used to work good but it grinds going in 4 lo can I put a transfer case out of 93 yj in my tj just bolt up or is there anything that needs to be done

Have you gotten under the jeep and looked at your linkage? You should be able to adjust it and hopefully that will work.
