transfer case drop brackets

i am running a 4 inch suspension lift with a dana 35 the lift kit came with crossmember drop brackets. i just installed a sye kit with a cv driveshaft, the new drive shaft was a tight fit when i installed it and i am getting ready to install a G2 D44 rearend i know that the pinion on the 44 is longer than the D35. my question is when i do my axle swap should i ditch the crossmember lowering brackets or shorten the driveshaft?

First, not advanced tech. Second, if you've gone to a CV driveshaft there should be no reason to still have a TC drop (assuming you have adjustable rear arms to properly orient the rear pinion).

x2 on the no need to have the tcase dropped.

If the driveshaft is a tight fit at rest, what kind of damage is it going to do as the suspension flexes and the pinion comes up? The distance between yokes needs to get even shorter than at rest.
