trac bars

Anyone have preferences on trac bars? Trying to decide and want to get a heavy duty one, thanks.

Currie, JKS, and Rubicon Express make the only three trackbars I would consider. For a lift that is less than around 4.5" to 5", I'd go with the Currie or JKS... and the Currie is made by JKS so they're identical to each other. I've had the Currie and it was great... I now have the R.E. because of the new RE suspension I just got installed. All three brands are highly recommended. The #1 brand I would not go with so far as a trackbar is concerned is Tera, they earned a reputation for bending.

The ones mentioned before (above) are fine, however with "only" a 2" BB, I wouldn't be worrying about a trackbar, at least not at that lift height.
If it were me, I'ld be replacing the steering (tie rod and drag link) with a heaver duty setup. The Currie HD Steering comes to mind

I am in the process of getting a larger lift, most likely the RE 3.5" SF lift so that is why I was asking about a new trac bar. Thanks for your input.

What about going with the Full Traction and eliminating it? Is it that big of an issue?

I know, but are they that big of an issue that they should be eliminated?

The rear, yes...
A lifted Jeep rides so much better with triangulated rear uppers and no rear track bar......

Where did you get yours? That is the only piece that makes me want FT over RE.

I use the RK rear tri-link (only the tri-link portion), with the optional weld on cradle.
I run the Currie J-Arms for the lowers, with outboarded rear shocks.

[EDIT]: BTW, I suppose that you could run the RK rear tri-link with the RE LA. Just use the weld on cradle.

Well i am thinking, now, that the RE 4.5 lift with 3.5 springs, the RK Tri-link and upgrade to the long arm later. Just thinking though. Opinions?
