Best policy is this: Once they are out, never put them back in. I would rather have mismatched metric heads than TORX.

1997 TJ with 4.5 Rubicon Express lift, Warn winch, sliders, 8.8, 5.7L LS1 V8, MTI X1 cam, long tube headers, tune, and a 4L60E.

They make things a lot easier

Lol, I bought that exact model from HF. It fell apart in my hands about the fifth time I whacked it with a hammer. I think somebody at the plant welded my torx bolts in as some kind of cruel joke!

You took the words right out of my mouth. Everyone who turns wrenches on their vehicle should have an impact driver. Make sure to get GOOD Torx bits, too - chase down a Snap-on or Mac truck and get the shortest bits they have.

I wouldn't touch Kragen's Chinese-built tools. Lifetime warranties on store brands are just a marketing scheme to sell cheap parts/tools and make people think they must be good quality because of the lifetime warranty. About the only tools I trust with a lifetime warranty are Craftsman... and of course pro-level tools like from Snap-On, etc.

Good thing we got craftsman in the garage, was just at Kragen yesterday and notice the tool sets... just saying, but good, glad to know we have a reliable set Jerry.
