torx 35 bit ???

while trying to put my mirror relocation mounts on my '06 LJ i found out that i need a torx bit between a 30 and 40. all of my tool kits seem to skip 30 to 40 and so do most in stores. Im wondering do they make a bit between 30 and 40 such as 32 or 35 and if so where can i get one.

There is certainly a T35 bit you are missing. You should be able to get one at any decent hardware or auto parts store.

No such size as a T32 or T35.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx

If you don't believe a Wiki posting, just Google for the industrial specifications of TORX fasteners.

.

A recent Gallup public opinion poll shows the NRA, at 58% approval, has a higher approval rating than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

That's odd, I'm pretty sure I have a T35 bit in my toolbox.
Bought it at Orileys, it was about 10 bucks, iirc.

The skinny pedal on the right is my friend. the gas gauge is not.

Are you sure it's not just a T-40 with a bunch of paint in it?

Tamper Proof security Torx have a T35. Tamper Proof fasteners have that pin in the center of the Hex that block a standard Torx bit.

Maybe LJ's have security hardware for mirrors, but standard Torx fasteners don't have a T32 or a T35.

Get a torx bit with a lifetime warranty and keep that receipt handy... . At least yours is a 2006, maybe you will get them off, I would not touch them. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure this is the solution. Just about every torx on the body is t40, but most people think it's to big because the bolt is filled with paint. I have removed every torx bolt on the body of my jeep and replaced almost all of them with stainless hex key bolts.

I find the best trick is to bang the bit in with a rubber mallet and use a wrench or impact tool.

EDIT: OOPS!!! My bad! I was thinking of the T-55. I have no T35.
I have removed my mirrors, so it's probably just got paint in it. I really don't remember having any problems with mine.

No such thing as a standard T35... it's always good fun to ask a new mechanic in training for a T35 socket

Use a T40, and tap it in with a hammer... as stated already it's full of paint.
