Torco oil in 4.0L?

Anyone run the Torco MPZ oil in their 6cyl 4.0L? I ran it in my 4.7 Dodge Dakota with autolite plugs and added the magnetic friction reducer and I gained almost 5mpg out of just adding those. Didn't know if anyone has run it in their Jeep.

The 4.0 is a very robust engine with design and engineering roots reaching back to the glory days of the American auto industry. It has been proven to provide decades of trouble free service with nothing more than routine oil changes using run of the mill lubricants. Save your money and just pick out whatever 10W30 that comes in your favorite color bottle - pretty much all modern motor oil is sufficient for top performance in a Jeep inline engine.

How long will it be before an AMSOIL rep comes into this thread?

No Joke

As much as I like Amsoil products for certain applications, when a salesman gets involved it always seems more like a cult than a lubrication company. Come to think of it, Amway is about the same way.

Do I sense a conspiracy theory in the works?

If a simple change to a different spark plug and oil could truly/possibly result in 5 more mpg, that would be considered a true miracle. Detroit and Japan, you guys haven't thought of that? What's wrong with you, 5 extra mpg with just Torco and Autolite spark plugs!!

No offense meant to you personally Scott.

Has anyone else ever noticed that if you use Yahoo or Google to look up ANYTHING that is oil related that Amsoil has managed to jam the search results so thoroughly that it's hard to find anything but Amsoil-sponsored propaganda?

Maybe Amsoil is secretly owned by the Church of Scientology?

Well I also added acetone to every fill up which helped a lot. But the engine did respond better to the Torco oil than it did when I ran Mobil 1 and Royal Purple. There also has been many attempts by outsiders to increase fuel economy with much success.

For ones who wondered what Torco is http://www.torcoracingoils.com/
