Tomb Raider Rubicon Standard Equipment List?
Hi guys
I can't seem to locate the dang original sticker sheet for my Tomb Raider .
I'm attempting to identify the specific type of soft top that originally came with it, so that I can list mine for sale -- it's essentially brand new. I checked the JC Whitney site, where there appear to be a number of comparable tops for 2003 Rubicons, but none specify that they're an exact match to the original equipment. I also googled to see if I could find an old listing of its standard equipment, but no luck so far.
Anyway, the info I'm seeking is an accurate name and description of the soft top/harware that would've come on it from the factory. . . which I immediately replaced with a full hard top. The soft top and supporting hardware were only on the Jeep for about a week (I bought it the same month they were released, July 2003), and the parts have been stashed in the garage ever since I got the hard top installed.
Thanks for any info you might be able to offer . And if anyone happens to be into acquiring it (it's the standard black), we're in the Sacramento area.
Mia
p.s. Just about a year ago, I posted here seeking advice on new tires (to replace the factory tires) . After much research, I decided on the Les Schwabs that a forum member recommended to me. They have worked out fabulously .

There was only one OEM soft top in 03.
It was the "Factory Soft Top"

Thank you, BlueFlame .
A forum member referred me to this page:
http://www.quadratec.com/products/11105_XX_A_PG.htm
That looks like the one, alright . A lot pricier than I would have guessed -- I was imagining about $500-600.

As your link states "all mounting hardware" I would assume that's the cloth top, the 3 windows, the bows, tailgate bar, tailgate bar brackets and the 2 door surrounds and possible the 2 brackets that the bows attach to the roll bars with.
So while $1150 seems to me a tad high, I would say $650~$850 for a top in excellent condition with tinted windows and all the hardware.

either i can help or a local dealer can. i work for a Chrysler-Jeep dealer in the parts department. if you have your VIN, or even the last 8 digits, either i or a local dealer can print you out a sheet showing all your options on your Jeep. but be careful who you give your VIN to, as they can also pull up personal info such as 'owner's address and key codes'.
i would suggest that you go back to your selling dealer, if possible, and ask them to print off an options list for you. if they look at you like this; , then either try another dealer or drop me an email. good luck. Kevin

Can you post a picture of your dash for me? I think the Tomb Raiders have some silver dash panels, and I was thinking about getting some for my TJ.
My father's '05 Rubi Sahara Unlimited has a two-tone dash, and I think it looks sharp. I was hoping to do the same thing with black and gray.

Go to the jeep website. Click "For Owners" then go to contact us. Send an email to them including the last 8 digits of your vin and in about 3 days you will have a complete and accurate copy of your build sheet. Good Luck with your sale.

my gold eagle also came with silver dash center bezel but the cluster surround is still black.. I really like that combination better than the ones wit hthe silver center bezel and silver cluster surround.

Mine came with Dual Tops. My black sailcloth top is still boxed and uninstalled.
I had considered selling it, and during the time I was looking (last summer) I saw a few sell for around $500-600, new, complete. I decided to keep it.

I have an 06 Unlimited with the "H" package, which included a chrome grille, painted wheel flares, upgraded seats and stereo and SILVER DASH panels. the trim around the instrument cluster and the center bezel surrounding the a/c vents, radio and a/c controls are both silver, which matches the inserts in the seats.
While they didn't make a "Sahara" model in the Unlimited for 06, after i removed the chrome grille (too 'girly for me' ha ha), mine did have the appearance of a 'Sahara' so i added Sahara decals on the fenders. SWEET!!!

I have an 05 Unlimited "H" package and would love to remove the chrome grill. Chrome on a Jeep is just wrong. What is involved in removing it? I've heard there is double-back tape that is really tough to get off.

i had NO TAPE on mine. i just removed the 2 plastic retainers on top of the grille, removed the headlight bezels and it came right off. there 'may have been' a couple more plastic retainers at the bottom, but they must have broken off when i pulled up on the grill. there were two slots there on the bottom of the grille, but i didn't have to remove anything. maybe the guys in Toledo were asleep on the line that day!
the only thing i would caution you with is with yours being on for some time, the chrome grille may have rubbed through the paint in some places. i had a slight 'burr' on the back of the grille and even though i took mine off only a month after getting it, the 'burr' made a rust spot on the paint. bad thing is that it's right below my right headlight, so it was showing. i ended up using some touch-up paint on it and so far, so good. no rust.
with that in mind, don't destroy the grille taking it off. you might have to put it back on after you see what's underneath it.
good luck! Kevin
