Congratulations guys. All are awesome jeeps. Gunkel with the restoration, Idaho with one of the best all round jeeps out there and Sean with the innovation to LJ to TJ. That rig is awesome, add the 1 tons and look out.
All the other rigs were great too. That calendar is going to look good over my desk at work.
i had a HARD time between gunkel and -sean-, almost had to flip a coin. but looking back through build threads was more entertaining.
-sean-, i saw a thread in pirate where [i think it was] you first asked about bobbing an LJ and there was a storm of "why are you shortening a LJ, just stretch a TJ and sell the LJ, you're stupid" comments. turned out great though. may not be their , but they can't deny the fabwork. and the build thread says it all.
gunkel, the amout of work you put in to transform that thing from a giant ash tray to a beautiful piece of work you have there is why you got my vote. the attention to detail is nuts...not many people go so far as to paint-to-match their winches.
i hope my LJ will look as good as either of yours' (but stay the right length -sean- :flipoff2

How about this, if you had the Jeep Spirit, you wouldn't abuse the rest of us trying to enjoy a nice day out wheeling by bringing your brokeass broken down junkyard crap out to play where it can't handle it?

you all have nice rigs, stop being f****** a**holes.
Congrats to Gunkel for the win!! Congrats to Sean for making the top 3!!
THANK YOU everyone who voted for my Jeep - I am very proud of the 100 votes I received and feel honored to be in with this group of 6 Jeeps going into the calendar. Thanks Will for all of your efforts.
Will- Thanks for putting this thing together. I think everyone had a lot of fun with it and I can't wait for the calendars! I had to have my wife help me out on my vote, it was too hard for me to choose!
There were some sick jeeps (build wise) that entered last year, but didn't get the votes because their pictures didn't show the rig off. One of the main parts of this whole comp is a calendar and the pictures you submit are what people are voting into it!
These shots are incredible and would go in any off-road calendar in my opinion:
Awesome group of rigs! I plan on a Spring cross country trip back out to Moab, hopefully I can wheel with some of you guys!
I have to say I voted for Sean's rig, but every one of these jeeps completely deserve the win. Congrats fellas, job well done.
Well put. I had a hard time picking, all three of these are incredible jeeps that I aspire to one day be even close to as good as.
