TJ spare tire mounting holes...I need a favor!

my TJ had the spare tire carrier holes filled in by the PO. i bought a Rugged Ridge HD tire carrier and i need someone to measure where the existing holes are so i know where to start. I know im asking alot but it would be extremly helpful! im trying to use a magnet but im not getting any results. Thanks for everyones help.

What were they filled in with?

I just have RTV in mine, they are pretty easy to see if you're looking.

I've got a tj in the garage with no tire on the tailgate. You can come over and measure (I'm in Mobile), or tell me what measurements that you need. I think I have the stock carrier somewhere around here for reference.

OK, I went out to the garage this morning and made a few measuerments for you.
Starting with the top left hole:
From the left side of the Tailgate: 15 1/16" Horizontal
From the top of the Tailgate: 2 17/32" Vertical (all three of the top holes have this same vertical dimension)
There are three holes on the top, they are spaced 4" apart.

For the bottom left hole:
From the left side of the Tailgate: 15 1/6" Horizontal (same as Top Hole)
From the bottom of the tailgate: 2 5/8" Vertical
There are only two holes on the bottom, spaced 8" apart

Top of Tailgate
2 17/32"
....15 1/16".........0...4"...0...4"...0...........................
.................................................. .......................
.................................................. .......................
.................................................. .......................
.................................................. .......................
........................0.......8"..........0..........................
2 5/8"
Bottom of Tailgate

Dang, too bad it's the wrong color and on the other side of the freakin country, I'd just trade you tailgates. I'm not gonna use the bolt holes and would love to have them gone. LOL! Vehicle mods, it's a never ending saga.
